Achoro Dual USB Port Wall Charger

Achoro Dual USB Port Wall Charger

With the world of smart products becoming more and more prominent. It’s important to do two things. First, make sure you have enough power outlets and second, make sure you have enough USB outlets. It seems, I never have enough of either. I’m always switching power via either port. I have USB towers, power towers, surge protectors, etc. I am always coming up with new, easier and safer ways to make sure everything is plugged in and charged. When given…

Sleeve Stars Elbow and Knee Compression Sleeves

Sleeve Stars Elbow and Knee Compression Sleeves

So here is a bit of a different review for me. This one is a bit more personal, as it helps with an ongoing problem I have. An old injury to my knee causes it to have a pain occasionally. It’s not constant but when it happens, it’s hard to walk. In the past, I’ve found compression works the best as it helps realign from the injury. I recently hurt my elbow carrying something, so I’ve been nursing it. I…

DotStone HDMI Switcher

DotStone HDMI Switcher

So these little things have been seen throughout my social media, just without an official review. I was holding off the review until I was able to fully test all the features, but that doesn’t seem to be happening in the near future. Because of this, I wanted to provide what I do know about the product. First, I’ll start with the build quality. This thing is heavy duty. In my experience, most HDMI Switchers tend to be plastic and…

Royal Kitchen Chef Knife

Royal Kitchen Chef Knife

More knives? Yes. Of course! I guess you can call this two in one, as the company decided to share two knives with me. They must have felt to get the true benefit, I needed two. These knives are very similar to the previous ones. A few minor differences, the logo of course, and the wood on the handle feels more realistic. They both have a sharp blade, and an 8″ stainless steel blade. It has a wooden grip over…

Survival Hax Tactical Flashlight

Survival Hax Tactical Flashlight

Another product from Survival Hax, another review! So if you read my previous review of the Camping Self Inflating Pad you know that I talked highly of the company and the products they make (There’s also a discount code for that product!) So when I received another product to test, I was worried that they would change my mind. I’m so glad they didn’t. This is actually my second tactical flashlight, the other doesn’t have a review but the product…

Gimmicks and Gizmos Security Camera

Gimmicks and Gizmos Security Camera

What we have today is a PZT (Pan, Zoom, Tilt) Security Camera by Gimmicks and Gizmos. I’m guessing they have several brands under their umbrella because the camera a got had the “babywombworld” title to it. It looks the same and works like my other, so I’m going to say its a subdivision. The camera is a standard dome camera. It is Wi-Fi enabled so it doesn’t need an Ethernet cable with to it (either via regular means or POE (Power…

Barmix Chefs Knife

Barmix Chefs Knife

Yet another knife review! Woot! This one is for the Barmix 8-inch chefs knife. This one is very similar to the other ones. The weight is extremely nice, it feels good in the hand with a nice distribution. The handle and blade aren’t as pretty as other knives but it’s functional and that’s all that matters. The handle feels like it’s a solid core handle with a single piece. Out of the box, it did need a bit of sharpening…

Amazker Sleep Mask

Amazker Sleep Mask

Did you ever, for the life of you, suspect I would not only do one sleep mask review but two!? Well, here I am with a second. This time around it’s a sleep mask from a different brand. The Amazker mask is different from my first. It has its pluses and its minuses. I will try to be as detailed as possible with the characteristics. I’ll start with the pluses. The eyecups are contoured. This is a completely different feel…

MasterGo Chef Knife

MasterGo Chef Knife

Another knife review! Either I really like knives, companies love giving me them or in my case both! This knife creates number 5 for me for chefs knives. My initial thoughts. It’s a great knife. The blade is a standard 8 inches long, the height falls right in the middle. It comes pre-sharpened and actually is in a cutting condition out of the box. I’ll still sharpen it but I usually do with new knives. The weight of it is…

Small Ant License Plate Camera

Small Ant License Plate Camera

Well, I’ll start with the prefix that I haven’t been able to test the way it should be. It needs to be hooked up to a monitor of some sort. I either have to put a new radio head in (which means a minor modification to my dash, or a portable DVD player of sorts. I haven’t decided which way I want to proceed with it yet. As I open the box, the piece itself seems sturdy. Reminds me of…

Profivex Probiotic Powder

Profivex Probiotic Powder

So I’m not one to give my dog a powder. He usually sees right through it and refuses to eat it or anything it is mixed with. After realizing Rex might have so issues with his digestion, I was willing to give it a try. Heck, I already liked the bushes from the company. Rex ate it, I wouldn’t say he jumped at it, but he didn’t turn it away when I put it in his food (I’m not sure…

FurBliss Silicone Dog Brush

FurBliss Silicone Dog Brush

If you know me you know, I love my dog. Love or hate the brat is mine and I wouldn’t trade him for anything. When I adopted Rex back in 2013 he was four but it was love at first sight. When given the chance to test these brushes, I jumped at the chance. My current brush works but it always left much to be desired. Mainly I felt it was a little rough on my dog, I felt bad…

Adam Elements Bluetooth Scale

Adam Elements Bluetooth Scale

Well here’s a fun post! My weight has always fluctuated depending on my habits. I will be completely honest about that. When I was in the military I weighed about 195 but was more built muscle wise. At my heaviest, I weighed about 320 pounds. With that said, I and scales have a love/hate relationship. I have never actually owned one as well I don’t weigh myself nor have any need to weigh myself on a daily basis. Weight loss…

Hijacked

Hijacked

This shorter edition in the series focuses on the other characters besides the main protagonist in the “main series.” I found this the easiest to read, maybe because it was a bit shorter, or maybe I’m a bigger fan of the bad guy. Either way in the series this is my favorite volume.

Unchained

Unchained

I try to write my reviews so they don’t spoil, something that I still find hard in books, thus why they tend to be short. The lead character seems almost different in this novel, more likable, less switch. I like the character in the edition, but the story in the second book. Well written, even for a science fiction, tends to keep you intrigued. If it’s your type of book, definitely worth a pickup.

Stolen Lives

Stolen Lives

I again decided to hop into one of Mr. Allen’s books without reading the first. This seemed to be via happenstance. The book itself wasn’t my type of novel. I don’t read a lot of science fiction, but the way it was written kept me intrigued. The ships AI didn’t seem gimmicky as what I’m used to, a nice change. The space pirates are one thing completely, pirates are pirates after all, and it’s going to be the driving force for…

Onyle Laser Cat Toy

Onyle Laser Cat Toy

Prefix: I do not have a cat but I have a dog, this counts right? There are a few things I love about this thing. First, the LED light is bright and it definitely gets the job done. Second, it’s rechargeable. In Themis day and age, fewer things use batteries and I don’t keep them around my household like I used to, being able to charge the light without needing batteries is glorious. Anybody need some flashlights? Next the laser…

Sanfeel Nintendo Switch Glass Screen Protector

Sanfeel Nintendo Switch Glass Screen Protector

On this Sunday, I am reviewing a screen protector for my Nintendo Switch. I never thought I needed a screen protector for my system, as I’m always careful, BUT unfortunately, I had slowly become of the dock scratching the screen so I put a screen protector on to prevent any further damage. I have installed a lot of glass screen protectors because I tend to upgrade my phone yearly, so I have experience with them. I opted to read directions,…

Big Ant PU Leather Console Cover

Big Ant PU Leather Console Cover

I usually don’t use interior accessories for my car that I see as unnecessary, I mean to me it doesn’t make sense. Needless to say, I decided to test this out. Most would ask why I would cover a leather center console with a PU leather one. One word, protection. My center console doubles as an armrest so it gets used daily. Pros: The texture adds a bit of flare It protects my center console It matches my interior It…

Cuena Stainless Steel Watch

Cuena Stainless Steel Watch

So lately I’ve been getting more and more into watches. Call it my age, as I get older my taste in life changes. I’ve also seen myself gravitate more towards leather bands then stainless steel. With that in mind, I still love a good stainless watch, it has a flashy look that sometimes I just want to show. Let’s start with the faults. It’s light which is okay, I wish it had more heft, light watches with me doesn’t sit…

The Wizard’s Bane

The Wizard’s Bane

I’m not one into science fiction at all. My friends actually bust on me quite a bit. I love comics, and huge into the geek culture, I’m just not a sci-fi guy. This book changed my perception of the genre. I don’t get a chance to read book one, but I was able to get a digital copy of this edition. It was well written and the story actually kept me entertained. A hard task and a reason I don’t…

Aqua Spa RainFall Shower Head

Aqua Spa RainFall Shower Head

A recent hotel visit had me make an unexpected purchase. Just what idea might a hotel give me? New sheets? Curtains? Rugs? A maid? (I can wish for that last one!) No, it made me want to change my shower head. I’ve been using the same shower head for over a year now. Was I happy with it? Yes, it had different water pressure settings, I could pull it out and it worked well. But I truly felt I needed…

Anybody that knows me knows I barely ever sleep. If I sleep I don’t truly sleep but go through the motions. Call it an overactive brain, call it sleep apnea, insomnia, call it whatever, it is what it is. In this review, we will be looking at a sleep mask. I don’t usually use these but I have seen many through the years. I must say this one is well built. It has a thickness to it, with a nice…

Video Blogging Ebook review

Video Blogging Ebook review

I decided to read an ebook on video blogging for a few reasons. First, my review sites are still relatively new, so any opportunity to improve it, I’ll be there. Secondly, I had just finished my last book and this popped up and seemed like the right timing. Third, vlogging seems to he the direction reviews are going. Now I’m a tech-savvy guy, my day job is I design and build home theaters, so I’m around electronics and technology on…

Feriwola Pocket Multi-Tool

Feriwola Pocket Multi-Tool

In this review, I will be looking at a Feriwola 11 in 1 pocket multi-tool. The weight of the tool is actually relatively nice. It’s not too heavy but not a feather in your hand. It’s a bit bigger than my palm and with the rounded edges, it fits quite well. The tools themselves were a bit tough to open at first, but it has also been in negative temperatures here. I will chalk it up to the cold and…

Haidexi Candelabra LED Bulbs

Haidexi Candelabra LED Bulbs

Of all the lights in my house, only one takes less than the standard size bulb. It would be the one located in my bedroom. I’m not sure if Candelabra bulbs are more sensitive or I just have horrible luck with them, but they seem to blow quite regularly. I was given the chance to test these LED bulbs instead of the standard incandescent style. When prompted, I, of course, took the opportunity. I mean why not? The rest of…
